Amy Zhang (California, USA)

Amy Zhang is a freshman in high school from San Diego, with interests in exploring the connection between the arts and neurology. As an experienced pianist, she has discovered many different aspects of music, and is also passionate about dance and science. She hopes to use creative arts and research to inspire and spread awareness for the neurodivergent community.


Rithika Sathish (California, USA)

Rithika Sathish is a sophomore from Fremont who is passionate about all forms of art (her favorite being visual artworks) and neuroscience. Her interest in creative expression and neurology has led her to research the connection between the two. In her free time, Rithika likes drawing, playing the piano and playing badminton with friends. She loves being helpful and is excited to help a larger community!


Gloria Chen (California, USA)

Gloria is an incoming freshman from San Diego, California who has a passion for music, sports, and business. She plays trumpet, enjoys expressing herself through music, and is interested in exploring music’s effects on the brain. Gloria is also an experienced soccer athlete and has been a Girl Scout since 2017. She hopes to use her passions to help others and make an impact in the community.


Yusra Mehreen (North Carolina, USA)

Yusra Hassan is a freshman in high-school, who lives in North Carolina. She loves music and likes to learn about neuroscience and biology! Her hobbies include crocheting, baking, sewing, and occasionally playing badminton, and her favorite book is A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.


Ava Lerman (California, USA)

Ava Lerman is an incoming sophomore from San Diego, passionate about dance, art, and science. As a competitive dancer, Ava expresses creativity through movement and choreography. She also loves drawing, crafting planners, and bullet journaling. Ava is deeply interested in environmental sciences, neuroscience, especially research on PTSD, and emerging fields like sonogenetics.


Maggie Wright (Missouri, USA)

Magdalen Wright is a dedicated student with a deep passion for neuroscience and its relationship with human behavior. She actively participates in several extracurricular activities, including Science club, Alpha club, and Philosophy club. Magdalen enjoys competing in golf and bowling. Her curiosity for STEM subjects drives her to engage closely with the STEM community.


Christina Wang (North Carolina, USA)

Christina Wang is a freshman from Cary, North Carolina with a deep interest in the arts, athletics, and science. She is an experienced violinist with a strong background in orchestra and chamber music, and she is also passionate about dance and jump rope. Through her artistic and athletic pursuits, Christina hopes to make a meaningful impact on her community.


Selin Ulug (Bahrain)

Selin is a Grade 11 international student in Bahrain who has strong interests in science, music, research, and teaching. She is a member of the Bahrain Youth Orchestra and plays many musical instruments. She aspires to teach glockenspiel to the neurodivergent community in Bahrain and also research the positive effects of music, both of which combine her love for biotechnology with her musical expertise.


Sophie Farid (California, USA)

Sophie Farid is a junior in high school with a passion for music, neuroscience, and education. She one day hopes to become a pediatrician. Her hobbies include singing, biking, and reading. She is excited to work to help spread awareness through a community with similar passions!
